As far as I know,…

No, not quite. Skullgirls universe Parasites are more of a “sci-fi symbiote” than a realistic parasite. AFAIK, a parasite can live as long as their host does (That last statement is based on old concept art, but as things don’t clash with that info in-story, it’s still taken as accurate).

Getting a little into fanon territory here, it seems reasonable to assume that Samson is healthy as long as Filia is. If she’s affected by him drinking, say, then I expect any other ingested foods would have a similar effect.

Filia’s listed as liking to eat, so he likely gets a good percentage of his nutrients from that. And vice-versa. Actually, a common fan theory is that Filia is a little pudgy because of all the extra food she gets from Samson eating things.

The same probably goes for any other characters that host Parasites.

As far as I know, their nervous systems or w/e are completely combines, so whatever happens to one happens to the other.

Also, Filia gets drunk when Samson drinks. P: It used to be on the official site but I guess they had to take that tidbit down because of ratings or w/e. haha
