A kinda sorta test page. Obviously sketchy and rudimentary haha. I just sort of drew the top right panel and was like “eh what the hell, let’s just make it a whole page” and voila.

My half of an art trade with limeyyo of their character Anoushka. She’s supposed to be a genderless sort who goes by female, so I tried to go for an androgynous look. Not sure if successful @- @

I really like the proportions on this character ehuehu ;-; I have a weakness for giant hands. Overall I like how it came out

My sketches from today. I guess I was in a character designing mood! A few of these folks have not been seen before, so that’s cool too I guess.

Calaca has a complete look at last (I have been messing with her outfit for at least a year). Cuco’s current design can be seen as well, although I think I messed up when gauging how high up I made the stairs. x:

The priestly dude on the right, who is semi-important, has been getting tweaks for a while too. He’s currently unnamed but w/e. The guy on the bottom is Topiltzin, a past human form of Quetzalcoatl’s. That was just sort of an initial idea I sketched down roughly, hence the debatable quality.

The cutie on the upper left is named Fisher. She has a whole body design and stuff but I had no room for all of her. I really like drawing her, actually. She’s fun

A Tez montage!

This is his finalized look, albeit I haven’t gotten around to coloring yet.

He has a few accessories he doesn’t always wear, namely his cape (which is actually a jaguar pelt but I neglected to draw the spots on) and his fancy hat, which is sort of like a pillbox in shape. Those kind of hats are very in vogue, and a princely fellow like Tez is nothing if not fashionable.

There’s also some (debatable) semi-realism, and a more “modern” look thrown in for good measure. I’ll have to draw a more “schematic” reference for his foot, as it doesn’t come across too clearly in these images. It’s meant to look a bit like an athletic replacement prosthetic and a bit skeletal and claw-like at the same time.

My choice candidates for Skullgirls DLC. A vote for any of (preferably, all of) these three fine folks is a vote for badassery.

Also, I will be enormously disappointed if Beowulf doesn’t get a suplex move.
